If you’re looking for the Sidecar style of appendix carry holster, you’ve found the most comfortable version yet. Not everyone can appendix carry with a spare mag’, but this option works very well for many.
This is similar to the Sidekick model, but with an integral magazine carrier. With the magazine carrier permanently attached, it’s extremely stable and comfortable, and the claw pulls the whole rig in closer to the body. It is superior to the Minuteman in conceal-ability and comfort, but it is a dedicated appendix carry holster and cannot be moved, unlike the Minuteman and Sidekick.
The sight channel accommodates suppressor height sights and the end is left open for threaded barrels and to ensure that nothing gets stuck in the holster.
The magazine is canted away from the pistol slightly, and also tucked into the body.
It comes standard with a large soft foam wedge that is removable. You may need to trim it down to your preference. There are many similar holsters on the market, but none that I’m aware of offer this style of wedge.
It comes with your choice of clips or soft belt loops mounted on struts. Both options are tuck-able.
What sets this apart from its’ competitors? The injection molded claw and overhooks (clips) are much stronger than kydex, and the unique foam wedge makes it the most comfortable one piece appendix carry holster on the market. The retention on the gun and magazine are on the outside of the holster, rather than the middle. This allows you to fine tune one or the other, and prevents putting extra tension on the slide when you just wanted to tighten the magazine.
It is available in bi-tone, with the front and the back being different colors. If you don’t see the color or pattern you would like, please email “gabe at knowledge skill gear” and I’ll try to get it. You can also select a color for the eyelets that attach the front to the back.
Designed for appendix carry, it cannot be used elsewhere on the body.
