Description
Most of what I make is currently on hold, due to a combination of developing new models/tweaking old ones, and taking a break for personal health. If you’re the praying type, I’d appreciate it. 🙂
When you set a magazine high enough to grab it easily, it often wants to tip out, especially when carried up front to balance out your aiwb holster. This one solves that problem.
Lead time is 1-2 weeks. That is an estimate, not a promise.
The latest incarnation of our inside the waistband magazine pouch, it is longer than most to give more stability.
It is adjustable for ride height and angle of cant. Need to tuck your shirts in? No problem! Choose the RCS clip, the strut and loop, or the Discreet Carry Concepts clip. The only option that doesn’t allow you to tuck your shirt behind it is the soft loop, when it’s directly affixed to the top of the mag’ carrier.
The Discreet Carry Concepts clip is metal. Thinner than the RCS clip, it is also much stronger. These are what I use on my personal holster and mag’ carrier, as they’re the only clip I know of that has passed the repeated test of being used in Shivwork’s ECQC.
Unlike the 1.2, this model is tuck-able. It is more concealable than the 1.2, but is IWB only.
If you have questions on fit, please email first, or make a note on the order mentioning your pistol model.
Note: some of the pictures show it with a strut and soft loop, or the metal DCC clip, which is an optional upgrade. It comes at the standard price with the RCS over hook, which is an injection molded plastic clip. The “hideaway” clip is short and will not fit over belts. It’s designed to hide behind the belt, which is perfect for when you need to tuck your shirt and be ultra discreet.
Lead time is 1-2 weeks. That is an estimate, not a promise.

I purchased this magazine carrier due to the unbalanced appearance of only carrying my pistol holster. I was having a difficult time visually conealing my pistol with an apparent bulge only coming from one side of my front profile. I read a blog online that suggested for smaller framed people to consider a magazine holster as well so as to even out the distribution. So, I figured what the hay, lets give it a go.
I am 5′ 7″ and I weigh 160 pounds
I am a female with a 33″ waist
I do want to say that I am a beginner and new to this reality of carrying a force multiplier. I am trying to learn and be teachable. Gabe has been INFINITELY patient with me, and has been far more present and available that could ever be expected by any consumer.
One hurdle I met when receiving this magazine holster was the wiggle room my magazine had in the holster. I assumed the magazine carrier would have the same retention my Sidekick holster gave my pistol. I had to email Gabe for guidance on where I purchased the product wrong, as I was afraid there was too much play in my magazine and it would fall out. He informed me that there was a silver screw that takes an allen wrench to adjust. The allen wrench is included in your purchase. By tightening the screw, an “arm” is pushed out and this tightens the retention on the magazine. This also allows for the user to decide if the magazine should seat low or high, as there is quite a lot of depth to the holster.
Ultimately this is just an awesome product. Due to my being new and not having tried any other products, I am not qualified to speak on what makes a product “good” versus “poor”, but in my humble opinion from what I have been reading and my constant play with these products; these are QUALITY products. This is a sound device that I will gladly rest my life in, and my safety.
With the magazine carrier and the Sidekick holster, I am able to conceal this quite well. And, even though the weight is significantly more (I have a double stack 10 round magazine), it is surprisingly far more comfortable to have the weight distributed over more area than one singular location.
Personally, I am not able to use the wedge, as it gives me an unattractive appearance in my nethers, I can see the functionality of this device. I have purchased it for both products to see what works for me.
I would also like to say that for my original purchase I was using the supplied plastic holster clips. For my recent purchase of the magazine carrier, I made the investment to the Discrete Carry Concept Clips – WELL WORTH THE MONEY. These are just awesome! They even seem to grab the clothing with the upward facing hook, so if ever there was a need to wear your set up without a belt; this would work flawlessly. The profile is absurdly smaller as well. There is basically no appearance or profile to their presence, which makes your concealed carry all that more concealed.
