These are the instructors and organizations who carry KSG holsters into their own classes, in front of their own students. We didn't buy their opinion. We earned it — and then we asked them to keep telling us where we're wrong.
Active Self Protection
John Correia founded Active Self Protection in 2011 and built it into the most-watched self-defense channel on the internet by doing something nobody else was doing: breaking down real defensive encounters, frame by frame, to find out what actually happens when violence starts. He's a Force Science Certified Analyst, a Massad Ayoob Group certified Deadly Force Instructor, and a court-admitted expert witness on use of force. His standard for training is blunt — recent, relevant, realistic. ASP instructors teach nationwide.
American Fighting Revolver
American Fighting Revolver exists because the industry nearly let a body of knowledge disappear. Bryan Eastridge and the AFR team run RevolverFest in South Carolina and the Pat Rogers Memorial Revolver Roundup at Gunsite — two of the few events in the country devoted entirely to fighting with a wheelgun. Snub work and pocket carry are their home ground, and there's no harder audience for a revolver holster.
Apache Solutions
Apache Solutions runs professional firearms courses and private instruction for people who intend to be capable, not just licensed. They became our first official brand ambassador in March 2026, and their class schedule doesn't leave much room for gear that quits.
Carry Trainer
Mickey Schuch teaches across the country and still takes more than 160 hours of outside instruction a year himself — a habit that tells you most of what you need to know about him. Carry Trainer's approach is deliberately holistic: the gun is one tool inside a much larger problem. He carries every day, in every climate, in front of a camera. Gear that only works on a square range gets found out fast.
Synergy Training Group
Tyler Tharp built Synergy around measurable gains — practical pistol, carbine, less-lethal, and first aid, taught to everyone from first-time carriers to Master-class competitors. He's a USPSA Master, a Mississippi State Certified Firearms Instructor, and an NROI Chief Range Officer, and his instruction hammers one idea: mechanics that hold up under stress. Their instructors and ambassadors now reach across several states.
