Why KSG Armory Supports the Guardian Conference

Every year, the Guardian Conference brings together serious armed citizens and some of the best instructors in the defensive firearms community for three days of training at the Oklahoma City Gun Club.

KSG Armory was proud to once again sponsor the Guardian Conference in 2026.

In the interest of complete transparency, KSG Armory isn't exactly an unrelated outside sponsor. We're affiliated with ConcealedCarry.com, the company that organizes and hosts the Guardian Conference. The two operate as distinct brands, but we're part of the same family.

That relationship is also part of why KSG has been involved with the conference and why we believe so strongly in what happens there.

At KSG Armory, we build holsters for people who carry guns. At ConcealedCarry.com, the focus has always extended beyond simply carrying a firearm to developing the knowledge, judgment, and skills that responsible armed citizens need.

Those ideas fit together pretty naturally.

The equipment matters.

What you know—and what you can actually do with that equipment—matters even more.

That's what makes the Guardian Conference such a natural fit for KSG.

That's the philosophy behind KSG Armory, and it's difficult to imagine an event that demonstrates it better than the Guardian Conference.

The 2026 conference featured 14 instructors teaching 61 class sessions representing 31 different courses over three days. Fifty-one of those sessions involved live fire. Students filled 591 class seats and accumulated approximately 1,940 hours of training.

And this wasn't simply three days of standing on a square range punching holes in paper.

The curriculum included handgun fundamentals and advanced pistol skills, shooting while moving, close-quarter handgun techniques, combatives, emergency medical training, low-light tactics, carbine, vehicle defense, shotgun, revolver, and legal education.

In other words, it was training centered around the problems armed citizens may actually have to solve.

That's something we're proud to be part of.

KSG Holsters Were Put to Work

Our involvement in the Guardian Conference also went beyond sponsorship.

HK USA and Langdon Tactical provided loaner pistols at the event, giving attendees an opportunity to try different handguns and, more importantly, actually train with them.

KSG Armory supplied holsters to accompany those loaner pistols.

And they got used.

Over the course of the weekend, attendees were able to borrow those guns and KSG holsters and take them into classes. That's a very different experience from picking up an unfamiliar handgun at a gun-store counter or firing a few rounds through one at a demo bay.

They could actually put the equipment to work in a training environment.

That's exactly where we want KSG holsters to be.

The 2026 Guardian Conference by the Numbers

The scale of the training that took place over three days is pretty remarkable:

• 14 instructors
• 61 training sessions
• 31 different courses
• 51 live-fire sessions
• 591 class seats filled
• Approximately 1,940 student training hours
• Approximately 78,000 rounds fired over the weekend

The estimated round count includes roughly 73,000–74,000 rounds fired by students in classes, plus instructor demonstrations and the HK Challenge.

Those numbers tell the story better than we probably can.

This was a weekend built around doing.

People Traveled Across the Country to Train

The commitment of the people attending was equally impressive.

Participants came from at least 28 states in 2026. Some traveled more than 1,000 miles to get there, and two attendees made the trip from Alaska—roughly 2,870 miles away as the crow flies. Collectively, attendees traveled an estimated 80,000 miles round trip even when measuring only straight-line distances.

Why travel that far?

Because good training is worth pursuing.

The firearms industry naturally spends a lot of time talking about equipment. We debate guns, optics, ammunition, weapon-mounted lights, belts, holsters, and every other piece of gear imaginable.

We enjoy those conversations too. We are, after all, a gear company.

But equipment has a supporting role.

A great holster can securely carry your firearm, provide consistent access to it, and help make concealed carry practical. It cannot teach judgment. It cannot build competence. It cannot give you repetitions.

Those things require training.

Why KSG Is Part of the Guardian Conference

Because of our relationship with ConcealedCarry.com, supporting the Guardian Conference isn't simply a matter of picking an event and showing up.

We have a vested interest in seeing the conference succeed because we believe in what it is trying to accomplish.

KSG makes equipment for armed citizens. The Guardian Conference gives those same people an opportunity to develop the skills and knowledge that make the equipment useful.
